Overview

In collaboration with economist and geopolitical analyst Arkadiusz Bartłomiejczyk, I co-produced Zawsze Chodzi o Pieniądze (“It’s Always About the Money”)—a weekly educational podcast exploring current events through an economic lens. The show analyzed both global and Polish affairs, including U.S. foreign policy, EU developments, and domestic elections, with a strong focus on economic impact.

Format

The podcast followed a co-hosted format, structured as a dialogue that leaned toward expert interview, with Arkadiusz delivering in-depth analysis and me facilitating the conversation. Each episode followed a consistent structure: a short introduction followed by detailed commentary and economic breakdowns.

Over the course of nine months, we produced and published 27 episodes on YouTube and Spotify, with standout episodes on artificial intelligence and Polish politics (e.g. Donald Tusk) attracting significant attention—one of which reached 1.7 million views.

My Responsibilities

Each week included:

End-to-end production: recording, editing (audio and video), and publishing

Visual content creation: thumbnails (Canva), episode visuals, and branding assets

Social media promotion: weekly content for Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter (carousels, posts, stories)

Project management: maintaining a consistent publishing schedule and content pipeline

Interviewing: facilitating and recording expert conversations

Outcomes & Reflections

Despite strong individual episode performance, the show concluded in mid-2024 due to limited marketing resources and shifting schedules. Nonetheless, the project was a valuable learning experience in long-term content production, expert interviewing, audience engagement, and multi-platform publishing. It also strengthened my skills in podcast editing, content marketing, and managing an educational media initiative from concept to delivery.
